Bulk Chemical Characterization / Disposal

Federated Environmental, through its extensive experience in waste management nationwide, can offer the answers to your chemical disposal questions and provide the needed support to address your hazardous waste disposal concerns.

Lab Chemicals

Waste chemicals can be extremely expensive to remove and properly dispose even if they’re in small, labeled containers. Federated Environmental can properly characterize, manifest, transport, and dispose of the waste. One company, one solution.

Containerized Waste Management

Virtually all property managers, manufacturing companies, asset managers, and commercial businesses, at one time or another, are faced with quantities of drummed or otherwise containerized waste that requires characterization and disposal. Federated Environmental offers comprehensive waste management services.

 Liquid/Solid Waste Testing and Characterization

It’s amazing how often a drum or drums appears out of nowhere and cannot be identified by anyone. Federated Environmental offers comprehensive chemical waste testing, transport, and disposal services. Samples of the “mystery waste” are collected according to federal EPA protocols by personnel in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Once the samples have been collected, properly labeled, preserved, and stored, the samples are delivered to a certified laboratory for analysis. Federated Environmental will provide the results to the client with a full chemical characterization, offer information which indicates the probable source of the waste, and the most cost-effective means to dispose of the waste.

Waste Labeling (DOT) & Disposal Management

Federated Environmental is not a hazardous waste disposal company, but rather a company that assists industry in selecting the most expedient and legal method of disposing of the waste(s). Prior to beginning any actual disposal activities, it is necessary to properly label the waste in accordance with federal and state regulations. In addition, the U.S. Department of Transportation has additional waste labeling requirements of their own that need to be followed. Federated Environmental offers these waste labeling services, as well as recommendations on how each specific waste should be manifested and transported. Should the waste go for incineration in New Jersey? How about land disposal in a lined landfill in Boise, Idaho? Can the wastes be mixed to make the loads smaller? Can I keep the waste on-site for another month? Federated Environmental, through its extensive experience in waste management nationwide, offers the answers to these questions and the needed support to address your hazardous waste disposal concern.
